Every year on the last Wednesday of May, here at Climate Action North we celebrate World Otter Day with our friends at the International Otter Survival Fund (ISOF).

An online Trees and Bees Conference hosted by community interest company Climate Action North, has raised over £800 for a variety of wildlife and conservation charities across the UK.

A talented seven-year-old girl has designed an enamel pin badge to help in the climate crisis and has become the first Climate Action North Global Wilder. Loralai Murray, from Newcastle-upon-Tyne, has a keen interest in the climate crisis, and chose to support action by designing an Earth pin.

The annual Fairtrade Fortnight is shining a spotlight on the climate crisis and asking the public to support fair trade so farmers overseas can benefit from fairer prices, fairer trading practices and the resources needed for tackling the climate emergency.

Climate Action North has secured a lead coordination role for the Rewilding Network in the North of England. Using people power, and the power of nature, the network of rewilders aims to upscale rewilding across Britain.

North East Action for Rivers (NE4R) includes regular clean-up activities on the beach, on the water, on mudflats and on rocks and is delivered in partnership with marine safety partners Swiftwater Solutions with support from local landowners Sunderland Enterprise Park, and Climate Action North corporate sponsor Arktek Group Limited.

The Climate Action North Pollinator Park initiative has received full registered trademark status from the UK Intellectual Property Office (IPO).
